2nd October is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti in India. Every
year our school celebrated this day. But this year was something different for
the students of our school. We organized „Swachhata Abhiyan‟ (cleanliness
campaign) in our school. The students of class X participated in this campaign.
Firstly, a rally was organized by us to spread awareness among the village
people. We had chosen the slogan „Clean village, healthy village‟. Secondly, we
had brooms, spades, and rakes in our hands. The school compound and toilets of
our schools were cleaned by the students. The dirty places in the village were
cleaned by us. Lastly, we had arranged an elocution competition on the theme
„CLEANLINESS‟. Many students participated in the competition and delivered
speeches. Dr. Monika Raval was the chief guest. He gave an inspiring speech on
this day. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the principal.

2️⃣2-Report writing

Last week our school celebrated the _____. All the teachers, students, and staff members of the school gathered in the school campus/prayer hall at 8 o’clock in the morning.  The sports day was celebrated in our school with great joy. baldevpari sir 

was the chief guest in our school. The preparation had been done in advance.

The committees were formed by our PT teacher. The games like Kabbadi, khokho,

chess, badminton, football and gymnasium were played by the students.

The chief guest gave an inspiring speech. All the people enjoyed the games. The

winners were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals by the guests. The

progamme ended with a vote of thanks by the principal and teacher.
