My mother‟s name is Ranjanben. She is 48 years old. She is thin and tall. She is a housewife. She is a learned and wise lady. She has witty nature. She is very kind. She works hard and keeps herself busy all the time. She teaches me in the evening. She also plays with us when she is free. She cooks nice food. I love her so much. It is truly said that „Mom is Mom‟.

The name of my robot is Ram Singh-123. It is a humanoid. It has a metallic silver body. It has also green and red lights. It is made to do all household works. It helps me with my study and plays with me. I ask him and he answers. It has three special qualities. These qualities are loyalty to his master and being harmless to self and human beings. I wish he will be with me forever.

I remember that when a boy in my class was unable to pay his fees, she paid for his fees. We are lucky to have such a teacher. My heart always speaks for her, 'I love you, teacher.'

A peacock is my favourite bird. It is a national bird of India. It has blue feathers. Its feathers are long. It is a big bird. It cannot fly high. It has a crest on its head. It is the most beautiful bird. It lives in forests and farms. It eats insects, snakes, grains and fruits. It hails the rain by dancing gracefully. It is called the farmers' friend because it eats insects and rats that are harmful to crops. The female peacock is called a peahen. I love a peacock for its colourful feathers.

India is a land of festivals. Many festivals are celebrated in India. Diwali, Uttarayan, Rakshabandhan, Ramzan Eid, Christmas, Holi etc are a few examples of them. The name of my favourite festival is Diwali. It is a festival of lights. It has a great importance in India. This festival lasts for a week. The people light lamps. They make sweets. They wear new dresses. They also worship Devi Laxmi (Goddess of wealth). The merchants perform „chopra Poojan‟.  At night the children enjoy firing crackers. It is a great fun. The day after Diwali is celebrated as the New Year. They go to temples and pray for the New Year. They also visit their relatives and wish them the New Year.
